We rolled our winnings back into our lottery pool to cut our cost of playing in half. So, for the next six months, the cost per player is only $62.00 or $10.33 per month. That’s a cheap way to play while trying to win the jackpot. We’re playing small to win big using the Lotto Fun Lotto Game strategy one. Not that this hasn't happened in the past because it has. My question is: Do individuals who buy a quick pick win more often than those who play in a lottery group? What are the stats on this? More likely players in groups win more often than individuals because they have more chances to win and when their numbers come up they win more prizes especially if they are using the Lotto Fun Lotto Game guaranteed wheeling systems. This raises more questions. Could it be that some groups using strategies to play large systems designate a group member to cash in the winning ticket on behalf of the lottery group? Is there fairness by letting groups purchase large numbers of tickets? In my opinion, yes, because if the game is totally random in picking the winning numbers, each ticket has an equal chance of winning. Of course the more tickets played the slightly better your chances of winning. That's the advantage of group play. I plan to research this to see if the stats verify my opinion about this. That is, if such stats exist and whether or not I can find them on the Internet. I'll get back to you about it. In the meantime, if you have an opinion about this or know where I can find the stats about this, please let me know. Good luck and play small to win big with the Lotto Fun Lotto Game.

Lottery Winner Must Pay Child Support Before Collecting Winnings!

Irresponsible fathers need to pay the child support owing to their kids before being allowed to collect their lottery winnings. There is no excuse for an able-bodied individual, who is gainfully employed, for not paying their child support payments. Anyone who brings children into the world must accept responsibility for supporting, nurturing, and raising them. For example, Ohio has the right idea by forcing a lottery winner to pay $50,569.00 child support before he gets his winnings. According to court records, Kelvin D. Bostelman failed to pay the child support owing to his children even though he was gainfully employed as an electrician and drywaller. The records show that Bostelman has a history of being in trouble with the law from 1999 to 2004 for not making child support payments. Bostelman, who won $7.5 million in the Ohio Lottery’s Ohio Millionaire instant game, must pay his four children, ages 13-19, from two women, the monies owing them in unpaid child support before he receives any of the 30 annual payments of $250,000.00. Actually the payments are $172,500.00 per year after the mandatory 31 percent federal and state withholding tax. The money owing will be deducted off Bostelman’s first annual installment and forwarded to the Lucas County Child Support Agency and distributed to his children. It’s a good thing lottery winners must declare overdue child support and unpaid taxes when they claim prizes. Hats off to the Lucas County prosecutor, the Ohio Lottery Corporation and to Ohio state law for setting things right by making sure the children are taken care of. This should be standard practice for any lottery winnings, that is, pay child support before collecting any lottery winnings. I’ll bet it was definitely a learning experience for at least one lottery player.

Odds of Winning Prizes in Lotto 649

The jackpots are bigger more often but the odds of winning aren't. Since the Lottery Corporation increased the cost of a lottery ticket from $1.00 to $2.00 the jackpots are larger and occur more often but players are no better off in terms of the odds of winning. The odds have pretty much remained the same and the only difference is they're added a $5.00 prize if 2 of 6 numbers are matched. So, what are the odds of winning since the cost and the game has changed? The odds of winning any prize in the Lottery 649 is 1:32. Otherwise the odds remain the same: match 2 of 6 odds 1:81, match 3 of 6 odds 1:57, match 4 of 6 odds 1:1032, match 5 of 6 odds 1:55 491, match 5 of 6 + Bonus odds 1:2 330 636 and match 6 of 6 odds 1:13 983 816. Match 4 of 6 to share 9% of the pools funds, match 5 of 6 to share 4.75% of the pools funds, match 5 of 6 + Bonus to share 5.75% of the pools funds and match 6 of 6 to win or share the jackpot which is really 80.5% of the pools funds.

What should be done to improve the players odds of winning more prizes? The solution seems easy enough. Restructure the game to increase the players odds of winning more smaller prizes in the 3 of 6 and 4 of 6 prize categories. This would most likely increase their ticket sales because players would tend to win more prizes and therefore more likely buy more tickets. As in any lottery the odds are greatly stacked against the player and it would be nice to level the playing field somewhat. Until then, try using the Lotto Fun Lotto Game at www.playlottofun.com as a means to improving your odds of winning more prizes. Good luck and play small to win big!

What are your thoughts about this? Please let me know, I'd be glad to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for Nothing!

Exactly that! Nothing! We have a birthday club at our workplace. Each staff member has a turn bringing a birthday cake, card, and some small gift. We gather in the staff room to sing happy birthday and share cake and fellowship. When it was my turn to supply the cake, etc. I included several quick pick 649 lottery tickets in the card. My female colleague all too gladly accepted the cake, card, and lottery tickets. I gave her the gift in good faith and wished her good luck on her tickets for the upcoming 649 draw. Some months later it was my birthday and the same lady returned the favor. For my birthday she brought the usual birthday cake, card and enclosed several 649 quick picks in the card. Everyone was gathered in the staff room as usual. I thanked her for the cake, card and tickets. No sooner than I'd done so, her friend seated next to me said,"I wouldn't thank her just yet if I were you, read the date on the tickets." I did. I couldn't believe it! She'd given me used tickets that she'd bought and checked after the draw. The whole thing was very embarrassing for me. Most people on staff had a good laugh. Others thought it was in bad taste and let her know it. I also let her know that I didn't think much of what she did. She explained that she'd bought the tickets to give to me but her husband, an accountant, told her never to buy anyone else a lottery ticket because he/she just might win. I told her that if that was the case, she simply shouldn't have given me the tickets at all and that I appreciated the card and cake.

Isn't this a trifling matter? Yes and no. If the ticket doesn't win or if the prize is small, then there's usually no problem. But if the ticket turns out to be a jackpot winner, you could have a sticky situation on your hands or at very least, an embarrassing one. However, when you give a ticket to someone as a gift, or vice versa -- a gift is a gift. Each person owes the other nothing if it's a winning ticket. The person who received the winning ticket as a gift could chose not to share some of his/her winnings in which case, the person who gave the ticket could say,"Thanks for nothing!" On the hand, if the ticket turned out to be a big winner, then sharing some of your good fortune would be the right thing to do. At least that's what I'd do because the person was showing generosity and good will in giving you the ticket. These are my thoughts about the situation. It was a definitely learning experience.

Watch the Lottery Draws

Many players would like to watch the Lottery Draws. For example, a complete 7 Number 7 Combination cost $7.00, a 9 Number 84 Combination cost $84.00 and so on. Since the lottery corporation doubled the cost to $2.00 per ticket and changed the prize structure of the Lotto 649 Game to include a Match 2 out of 6 numbers for a prize of $5.00 they have increased their profits and ruined the game for small players. Personally, I see this as a rip off! In my opinion, players would be better off if the Lottery Corporation increased the amount of the smaller prize payouts and capped the jackpot at 20 Million to spread the prizes over more players. It's way too costly for individual players; hence their new saying "play together, win together". It seems that they are encouraging players to play in groups or they are limiting the game to those who can afford to spend big bucks every draw to play wheeling systems. Their big spiel is more bigger cash jackpots. Big deal! All they have done is make it too costly to play more than a few tickets per game or quit playing the game and boycott it. One way to overcome the cost of playing is use the 100% guaranteed incomplete wheeling systems provided by the Lotto Fun Lotto Game. See www.playlottofun.com to purchase excellent wheeling systems that come with a 100% guarantee of winning more cash prizes when your numbers are drawn. Given that the majority of Canada’s population lives in Ontario and Quebec this could be totally within the laws of random chance of winning or is it? Is there another lottery scam just waiting to be uncovered? This is a fair question and one that should be answered. Players have raised concerns about whether or not the lottery draw is being manipulated. Players are within their rights to question the fairness of the lottery 649 draw in view of the scam that occurred in Ontario. Could there be a device installed within the lottery machine to adjust the odds much like slot machines? Who knows? One way to promote fairness and openness in the lottery draws would be to telecast them live on all the major television networks using actual balls instead of computer generated numbers. This was done when the lottery 649 began in 1982. Why isn’t it being done now? If the draws were telecast nation-wide there would be much less chance that the draw is being rigged. A few more scams and players may begin to boycott the lottery, stop buying tickets, and choose another game to play.

What are your thoughts on this?

Concerned Player

How I'd Spend My Big Jackpot Winnings

What would you do if you won the big jackpot? My first reaction would be to check and recheck the numbers to make sure that I had in fact won. Then I'd experience total shock, joy, and disbelief at my good fortune. I'd have trouble keeping it to myself until I'd actually claimed my prize and sat down with a financial planner to figure out the best way to manage my jackpot winnings. Personally, this is what I'd do:

1. Invest a major portion of my jackpot winnings in low to medium risk investments with a smaller portion in higher risk/bigger dividend investments to perpetuate my wealth for future generations.

2. Do and buy some things that I've always wanted to do.

3. Pay off the balance on my mortgage and any debts I may have.

3. I would help my family members financially. For example, I would establish a scholarship fund for family members, who meet the academic criteria and want to attend a college or university, have the money to do so. I would also help family members pay off their mortgages. I would also establish a scholarship fund for students in general who meet the entrance criteria but you cannot afford to attend a college or a university.

4. Combat child poverty and homelessness. For example, I'd fund education programs in our schools and construct low income housing in the community for working families living below the poverty line for starters.

5. Think of more ways to help others and to make the world a better place in which to live.

This is how I'd spend my big jackpot winnings. There's no way that I can solve all the world's problems but at least I'd be able to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of a few people. In the meantime I will continue to use the Lotto Fun Lotto Game at www.playlottofun.com to play small to win big! I've had some success using the program and who knows I might just hit the jackpot and make my wishlist come true. Until then, good luck and happy playing!

What would you do if you won big? I'm interested in knowing what you'd do if you won. Please email your comments to me. Thanks.

Best regards,

Me, the dreamer!

Winning the Lottery is Mostly Luck

Winning the lottery is mostly the luck of the draw. Websites often claim to have a sure fire way to help you win big. Like many other things this is too good to be true because each draw for the winning numbers, although not totally random, is as close to being random as possible. This means that every number has an almost totally random chance of being drawn. Therefore, your chance of winning the Lotto 649 jackpot is about 1 in 14,000,000 whereas the chance of being hit by lightning is 1 in 330,000. As remote as either of these are, you are more likely to be struck by lightning. Of course there are thousands of winners out there but considering the 30 billion plus tickets sold, there should be. It looks as though winning the lottery is totally hopeless or is it? How can you improve your chances if the odds of winning are so remote? There are two things you can do to improve your chances;(1) start your own lotto group to cut the cost of playing more tickets and (2)use the balanced wheeling systems provided by Lotto Fun Lotto Game and win more cash prizes should your numbers be drawn. Use the Lotto Manager feature of the Lotto Fun Lotto Game to operate your own lottery pool. It is true that winning the lottery is mostly luck but the Lotto Fun Lotto Game's good software and good wheeling systems can give you the slight winning edge you need. See www.playlottofun.com for excellent wheeling systems that save you money compared to playing complete systems. Play small to win big! Happy playing and good luck!

Maximize the Benefits and Minimize the Harm

Research shows that governments annually rake in billions of dollars in gambling revenue and use it to fund many good things in society. For example, thousands of volunteer, charitable, and non-profit groups benefit from the billions of dollars in direct revenue that is generated each year. As well, additional contributions to the economy come through employment and indirect revenue such as income taxes paid by those directly employed by gambling-related businesses. However, there's always the risk that individuals and their families are harmed by the affects of a gambling addiction. The question is how can governments maximize the benefits of gambling and minimize the harm? More research is needed into how gambling affects the individual and society in order to answer the question. For example, what is the relationship between gambling attitudes and addictions? Do people gamble for fun or in the hopes of striking it rich? What is the mental attitude of gamblers? People have strong attitudes about gambling from outright banning it to tolerating and regulating it, to what the role of government should be, if any, in gambling. How should government inform the public about the research findings? Who should actually conduct the research? Should tax payers foot the bill? These are questions that need to be answered. The answer seems simple enough. People have two choices either do not gamble period or to assess their own situation to see if they can afford to play and, if so, to play responsibly. That is, remember it is only a game and that the odds are stacked against you. People play the lottery for fun or maybe they are just in a good mood and feeling lucky and think that maybe this time the big winner will be me. Perhaps it's their way of paying voluntary taxation to raise monies for a worthy cause. Playing the lottery simply gives them something to talk about with their friends and co-workers on a regular basis. They really don't understand or care that the odds of the game are grossly stacked against their winning and that the numbers are almost totally random. Maybe they are eternal optimists always hoping for the big win and the celebrity status that comes along with it. The reasons for playing are as varied as the people who play the lottery and everyone has an opinion about why people gamble. Whatever the reason for playing, people should play smarter by playing only if they can afford it and playing for fun. Before deciding to play, know the odds of winning, the prize structure, and the rules of the game. If you play with the thought of getting rich, don't play. This being said, keep in mind that good lottery software and good wheeling systems can give the player a slight advantage when playing the lottery. See www.playlottofun.com Lotto Fun Lotto Game; good software and good wheeling systems. The 100% guaranteed wheeling systems yield more cash prizes should your numbers be drawn. Play small to win big! Happy playing and good luck!

Lotto Fun Lotto Game: A Winner in My Books!

Hi,
Our Lotto 649 Group has been using the Lotto Fun Lotto Game program for several years. During this time we have regularly win about 48% back of what it costs our group to play the lottery. This substantially reduces our cost of playing the lottery while trying to win the big jackpot. In the meantime we've come close to hitting the jackpot. Who knows one day we just might win. Before using the Lotto Fun Lotto Game program our group's winnings were next to nothing. It's a great program for players who want to either create their own balanced wheeling systems or to check any lottery system to see its prize structure and whether or not it's worth playing. The Lotto Fun Lotto Game is a winner in my books!

If you would like to preview the website and perhaps download a free trial copy of the program go to www.playlottofun.com and see what the Lotto Fun Lotto Game has to offer.

Please email your comments to me about the Lotto Fun Lotto Game. I'd be glad to hear from you.
